SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology that enables telephone service to be run on top of Quantum's Business Internet Services, or any broadband service (w/o QoS).

Just like a PRI circuit, SIP Trunking includes Direct Inward Dialing (DID), which will allow the assignment of unique telephone numbers to individuals within your organization to efficiently route calls directly to their destination without having to first go through a receptionist, or auto attendant.

SIP Trunking is also very cost effective for small organizations. SIP Trunking can also use lower-cost transport, such as our Business or Enterprise Internet Services. SIP Trunking traffic when prioritized through Quantum's QoS-enabled (Quality of Service) network, ensures excellent call quality.
