How to setup email accounts for:
Outlook 2010:
- Open Outlook 2010.
- Select the File tab.
- Select Account Settings to display the Account Settings window with Email tab open.
- Click the New button to open the Add New Account Window.
- Select "Manually configure server settings, or, additional server types", click Next.
- Your Name: type your first and last name.
- Email Address: type your full email address.
- Account Type: POP3.
- Incoming mail server: type mail.qis.net.
- Outgoing mail server: type mail.qis.net.
- User name: This is the first part of your email address without the @qis.net, type all lower case letters.
- Password: type the password for your account.
- Click More Settings.
- Click on the Outgoing Server Tab.
- Check the box labeled: My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Click on the Advanced tab at the top.
- Change the Outgoing Server (SMTP) port to 587.
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
